Tools I Use

There are great tools out there, but some of them are really hard to find. I know I have trouble finding good and useful tools. I started the page that is linked on blog side-bar that I will keep up-to-date with the useful tools I use.

Here is the link to that: http://devcomponents.com/blog/?page_id=137

If you have tools you use that you find you can’t live without post them in comments… I love finding new useful tools that make me more productive.

Over 40 new features and enhancements and all new non-intrusive Warning Box control in this release… You can download it here.

Hi everyone,

We are looking for .NET C# developer on part-time basis to work on our Windows Forms, WPF and Silverlight components. You must be able to work without constant supervision, have attention to detail, focus on getting things done and have desire and pride to create quality products in timely manner.

While technical skills are critical for us, we are looking for developers who are incredibly professional, disciplined, focused, and leave their egos at the door. Attitude comes first. Everything else can be learned. The best developers we worked with were not the technical rock stars but their attitude and attention to detail more than compensates for that and its much more important to us.

You would work on improving our existing components, creating completely new ones from scratch, writing unit tests, blog, support developers using your code and more. We are constantly working on something new and interesting.

You can be located anywhere in the world as long as you have internet connection. You can work any hours you want as long as work gets done. You have freedom and control over your working hours. All we ask for is that things get done. You will also get responsibility of supporting whatever you develop since we believe that is the best way to understand what our customers need.

We are actually looking for full-time long term developer but we first want to make sure that you will fit and like working for us thus we always start with the part-time limited time-frame engagement to find perfect candidate. Eventually this position has potential to develop into the full-time position.

DevComponents has been in business for over 10 years and constantly profitable. We have thousands of happy customers and more ideas and feature requests than time.

If you are focused on getting things done, do really quality work and like being in control of your working hours let me know (email your resume and salary requirements to db @ devcomponents.com). We are waiting for you.

Please note that we expect that you do test project with us so we can see how well we work together. Test project involves developing a Windows Forms, WPF or Silverlight control. If you cannot do that effectively, then this is not position for you.

This position will stay open until we find perfect candidate. If you are interested or know someone who might be spread the word…
